Leasing a Acura

Acura is Honda's luxury division, and not loosely: its own 2026 warranty booklet identifies the brand as "Acura Automobile Division, a division of American Honda Motor Co., Inc." Coverage is written by the same company that stands behind Hondas. Every 2026 Acura carries a 4-year/50,000-mile new-vehicle limited warranty, a 6-year/70,000-mile powertrain warranty, and 5 years of rust-perforation coverage with no mileage limit. Two lines matter to lessees: Acura extends the coverage to "the owner or lessee," and the term starts the day the vehicle is leased, so a 36-month lease at 15,000 miles a year ends inside both terms.

Included maintenance is real but modest. The Acura Maintenance Program covers one oil and filter change, a tire rotation and a multi-point inspection within 1 year/12,000 miles at a participating dealer — not the multi-year program some European rivals bundle in.

AcuraWatch is the standard driver-assist suite: Collision Mitigation Braking with Advanced Pedestrian Detection, Lane Keeping Assist, Road Departure Mitigation with Lane Departure Warning, and Adaptive Cruise Control with Low-Speed Follow. The IIHS named the 2025-26 ADX, Integra and MDX Top Safety Picks in its 2025 awards.

Acura describes SH-AWD as continually optimizing torque between the front and rear axles and between the left and right rear wheels, accelerating the outside rear wheel through a turn. It is standard on the RDX, available on the MDX; the Integra is front-drive and the ADX uses a simpler all-wheel-drive system.

Consumer Reports ranked Acura seventh of 26 brands for predicted reliability in December 2025, and iSeeCars placed it fourth for longevity, at 1.5 times the average chance of passing 250,000 miles. Resale is concentrated rather than universal: the Integra won Kelley Blue Book's 2026 compact-luxury-car resale award at 43.2 percent.

Why lease a Acura through Swift Autos

We are a broker, not a dealership. We do not hold the cars; we source them from franchise Acura dealers across New York, New Jersey and Connecticut, and we quote the whole deal in writing — selling price, money factor, residual, bank fee, taxes and DMV — before you commit to anything.

What a broker cannot change is the bank's side: residuals and money factors are set by the captive lender and your credit tier, and any advertised incentive still has to be one you qualify for. What we can do is shop the discount off MSRP across several stores at once, show you which quote is real, and arrange delivery instead of a Saturday in a showroom. If a dealer beats us, take their deal.

Acura lease questions

Does the factory warranty still apply if I lease instead of buy?

Yes. Acura's 2026 warranty booklet states the coverages are offered to the "owner or lessee," and the term begins on the day the vehicle is leased. That is 4 years or 50,000 miles of new-vehicle coverage and 6 years or 70,000 miles on the powertrain. A 36-month lease at 15,000 miles a year finishes at 45,000, still inside both.

Is scheduled maintenance included with a new Acura?

Only the first visit. The Acura Maintenance Program covers one oil and filter change with Acura Genuine Oil, a tire rotation and a multi-point inspection, within one year or 12,000 miles, whichever comes first, at a participating Acura dealer, on 2025-and-newer vehicles. Everything after that is out of pocket, so price routine service into your monthly budget rather than assuming it is covered.

Which Acura models come with SH-AWD?

SH-AWD is standard on every RDX trim and available on the MDX. The Integra is front-wheel drive in all forms, including the 320-horsepower Type S, and the ADX uses a different setup Acura calls All-Wheel Drive with Intelligent Control System. If you specifically want the rear-biased, torque-vectoring hardware, that means an RDX, or an MDX configured with it.

What driver-assist and safety equipment is standard?

Acura calls AcuraWatch its standard suite of safety and driver-assist technology. Its feature guide names Collision Mitigation Braking with Advanced Pedestrian Detection, Lane Keeping Assist, Road Departure Mitigation with Lane Departure Warning, and Adaptive Cruise Control with Low-Speed Follow, which is unavailable with the Integra's six-speed manual. The IIHS named the 2025-26 ADX, Integra and MDX Top Safety Picks in its 2025 awards.

How reliable is Acura, and does it hold its value?

Consumer Reports placed Acura seventh of 26 brands for predicted reliability in its December 2025 update, with the Integra its strongest model and the MDX its weakest. J.D. Power's 2025 Initial Quality Study ranked the Integra and RDX highest in their segments. Resale is narrower than the reputation suggests: the Integra won Kelley Blue Book's 2026 compact-luxury-car resale award at 43.2 percent, and it is the only Acura in the 2026 ALG Residual Value Awards.

How do the four Acuras we lease differ?

They barely overlap. The ADX is the entry SUV, a 190-horsepower 1.5-liter turbo with a CVT and optional all-wheel drive. The Integra is a front-drive liftback, 200 horsepower, or 320 as the manual-only Type S. The RDX is the compact SUV, 272 horsepower with SH-AWD standard. The MDX is the three-row, seating up to seven, with a 290-horsepower V6 or a 355-horsepower Type S.
