Toyota Lease Deals
Toyota tops Kelley Blue Book's 2026 resale rankings and Consumer Reports' reliability survey — two reasons its leases price the way they do.
Leasing a Toyota
Toyota Motor North America sold 2,518,071 vehicles in the US in 2025, up 8.0% year over year, and electrified models — hybrids, plug-in hybrids and EVs — accounted for 47.0% of that volume, per Toyota's own sales release. Hybrids are the default in this lineup, not a niche trim.
Warranty. Toyota's newsroom lists 36 months/36,000 miles basic, 60 months/60,000 miles powertrain, and 60 months of corrosion-perforation coverage with no mileage cap. Hybrid-related components are covered 8 years/100,000 miles; the hybrid battery itself runs 10 years/150,000 miles and transfers with the car. On the battery-electric bZ, EV driving components including the traction battery get 8 years/100,000 miles. ToyotaCare prepaid maintenance is included, but the term varies by model — Toyota lists 2 years/25,000 miles plus 3 years roadside on the 2026 bZ, and 1 year/10,000 miles plus 2 years roadside on the 2026 RAV4.
Reliability. Consumer Reports' December 2025 brand rankings, built on roughly 380,000 member vehicles, placed Toyota first with a score of 66, ahead of Subaru and Lexus. In J.D. Power's 2026 US Vehicle Dependability Study, Toyota Motor Corporation earned the most model-level awards of any automaker — eight, including the Camry, Corolla, Tacoma, Sienna and 4Runner. iSeeCars' longest-lasting-vehicles study estimated Toyota's chance of reaching 250,000 miles at 17.8%, against a 4.8% industry average.
Resale. Kelley Blue Book named Toyota its 2026 Best Resale Value: Brand — a sixth consecutive win — at an average 53% of original MSRP retained after five years. For a lessee that's the number that matters: retained value underpins a high residual, and a high residual means less depreciation to fund over the term.
Safety. Toyota Safety Sense 4.0 is standard on every grade of the 2026 RAV4 — pre-collision with pedestrian detection, full-speed-range dynamic radar cruise control, lane departure alert with steering assist, lane tracing assist, road sign assist, automatic high beams and proactive driving assist.

Why lease a Toyota through Swift Autos
A Toyota lease is mostly arithmetic: capitalized cost, residual, money factor, term, and the fees stacked on top. Dealers quote you a monthly number; the structure underneath it is where deals actually differ. Swift Autos works as a broker, so we shop the same Toyota across multiple franchise dealers in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut instead of negotiating against one store's inventory and one store's month-end position.
We re-check manufacturer lease programs every month, because residuals and money factors move — a car that leased well in March may not in April. Every quote we send shows the full structure in writing: cap cost, residual, money factor, term, mileage allowance and every fee, so you can hold it up against anything else you're offered. When the car is ready, we deliver it to your door. No showroom, no finance office.
Toyota lease questions
What warranty comes with a new Toyota lease?
Toyota's newsroom lists a 36-month/36,000-mile basic warranty and a 60-month/60,000-mile powertrain warranty, so a typical 36-month lease sits entirely inside bumper-to-bumper coverage provided you stay under the mileage. Hybrid-related components are covered 8 years/100,000 miles and the hybrid battery 10 years/150,000 miles — far beyond any lease term you'd sign, and the battery coverage transfers with the car.
Is Toyota's reliability reputation actually backed by data?
By the sources we checked, yes. Consumer Reports' December 2025 brand reliability rankings, drawn from roughly 380,000 vehicles, placed Toyota first overall with a score of 66. J.D. Power's 2026 US Vehicle Dependability Study gave Toyota Motor Corporation the most model-level awards of any automaker — eight. iSeeCars estimated Toyota's odds of reaching 250,000 miles at 17.8%, versus a 4.8% industry average.
Which Toyotas hold their value best?
Kelley Blue Book's 2026 Best Resale Value Awards named Toyota the top brand overall at 53% of MSRP retained after five years, with category wins for the Camry, 4Runner, Grand Highlander, Sequoia, Sienna, Prius, Tacoma, Tundra and GR Supra. Five of those — 4Runner, Sienna, Tacoma, Tundra and GR Supra — also placed in KBB's overall top ten for retained value.
How does resale value change my monthly payment?
A lease charges you for depreciation across the term plus a finance charge. The residual is the lender's estimate of the car's value at lease-end; the higher it is, the smaller the gap between capitalized cost and residual, and the less you fund each month. That's the mechanical link between Toyota's resale record and its lease pricing — though the lender, not the awards, sets the residual.
What mileage allowance should I choose?
Residuals are quoted against a set annual mileage — typically 10,000 or 12,000 miles — and a lower allowance produces a higher residual and a lower payment. Buying extra miles up front is almost always cheaper than paying the per-mile overage at turn-in, so estimate your driving honestly. We'll model two or three allowances side by side before you commit to one.
What driver-assist equipment is standard?
Toyota states that Toyota Safety Sense 4.0 is standard on every grade of the 2026 RAV4: pre-collision system with pedestrian detection, full-speed-range dynamic radar cruise control, lane departure alert with steering assist, lane tracing assist, road sign assist, automatic high beams and proactive driving assist. IIHS named the 2026 Camry and Prius Top Safety Pick+ and the 2026 Tundra crew cab a Top Safety Pick. Content varies by model — ask us about the specific car.
