Leasing a Chevrolet

Chevrolet is General Motors' mass-market division, and Consumer Reports characterizes the current lineup as having shifted toward SUVs and pickups, with the Corvette a notable exception. That leaves an unusually wide range. Cars.com's 2026 research pages list an Equinox from $28,800 and a Colorado from $32,400, an Equinox EV from $34,995 and a Blazer EV from $44,700, and a Corvette line opening near $70,000 and reaching roughly $228,100 for a ZR1X convertible. One brand page cannot honestly pretend to serve one buyer.

Factory coverage, at least, is consistent across that spread. Cars.com lists identical terms on the Equinox, Colorado, Corvette, Equinox EV and Blazer EV: 3 years/36,000 miles bumper-to-bumper, 5 years/60,000 miles powertrain, 3 years/36,000 miles corrosion, and 5 years/60,000 miles roadside assistance. The EVs add 8 years/100,000 miles on battery and electric components. Those listings show no complimentary scheduled-maintenance program, so ask what maintenance is included before you sign.

Standard driver-assistance content varies far more than the warranty does. Cars.com lists the 2026 Equinox with automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning with pedestrian and cyclist detection, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning and lane departure steering assist, blind spot intervention, front and rear cross-traffic alert with automatic braking, following distance indicator and automatic high beams as standard. The 2026 Trax's standard list is much shorter. Check the specific model.

Crash results split the same way. IIHS rates the 2026 Equinox Good for moderate overlap front, side and headlights; the 2026 Silverado 1500 crew cab earns Poor for moderate overlap front and Poor headlights. Consumer Reports ranks the brand 24th overall and 17th for new-car reliability, but 10th for owner satisfaction and 7th for maintenance and repair cost.

Why lease a Chevrolet through Swift Autos

A broker sits between you and the dealer network rather than replacing it. We quote from the same manufacturer programs a store uses, but we work several rooftops across New York, New Jersey and Connecticut at once, so you compare numbers instead of negotiating them one showroom at a time.

That matters more on Chevrolet than on a narrow lineup. A Corvette lease and an Equinox EV lease are priced by completely different residual and incentive logic, and the store that is aggressive on one is rarely aggressive on the other.

What we cannot do is change the residual or the money factor — the captive lender sets those. What we can do is show you the full worksheet, tell you which fees are real, and get the car delivered without a day spent in a dealership.

Chevrolet lease questions

What warranty comes with a new Chevrolet lease?

Cars.com lists the same factory terms across the 2026 Equinox, Colorado, Corvette, Equinox EV and Blazer EV: 3 years or 36,000 miles bumper-to-bumper, 5 years or 60,000 miles powertrain, 3 years or 36,000 miles corrosion, and 5 years or 60,000 miles roadside assistance. A standard 36-month lease therefore ends right about where bumper-to-bumper coverage runs out, which is worth planning around.

How are the Chevrolet EVs covered, and what range should I expect?

Per Cars.com, the 2026 Equinox EV and Blazer EV carry 8 years or 100,000 miles on battery and electric components, on top of the standard 3-year/36,000-mile basic coverage. Cars.com lists the Equinox EV from $34,995 with an EPA range of 285 to 319 miles depending on drivetrain, and the Blazer EV from $44,700 at 283 miles.

Is Chevrolet reliable?

Honestly, it is mid-pack. Consumer Reports ranks Chevrolet 24th overall among brands and 17th for new-car reliability, noting many models rate average or below average. The same rankings place it 10th for owner satisfaction and 7th for maintenance and repair cost. On longevity, iSeeCars ranks the Silverado 1500 13th and the Suburban 16th among vehicles most likely to reach 250,000 miles.

Which Chevrolets hold their value best?

iSeeCars' 2026 value-retention study puts the Corvette third overall, losing 18.7 percent over five years against a 41.8 percent average across all vehicles. Trucks follow: the Colorado at 37.7 percent and Silverado 1500 at 39.7 percent. Large SUVs give up more, with the Tahoe at 45.3 percent and Suburban at 49.7 percent. Strong retention generally supports a stronger lease residual, though the lender sets the actual figure.

How do Chevrolets perform in crash testing?

It depends heavily on the model, so do not generalize from the badge. IIHS rates the 2026 Equinox Good for moderate overlap front, side impact and headlights, with an Acceptable small overlap front result. The 2026 Silverado 1500 crew cab is rated Poor for moderate overlap front and Poor for headlights, with a Marginal small overlap front. Ask us for the rating on the exact configuration you are considering.

Can I lease a Corvette through a broker, or only the volume models?

Both, but they behave differently. Cars.com shows the 2026 Corvette running from about $70,000 to roughly $228,100 for a ZR1X convertible, and low-volume performance cars are allocated tightly, so availability drives the deal far more than incentives do. An Equinox at $28,800 is the opposite: widely stocked and program-driven. Tell us which you want and we will be straight about what is realistic.
